A carnival-themed bake sale took place outside of Hamilton Hall in support of William Paterson’s Student Film Association on September 24th.

Students enjoyed spinning “The Wheel of Chance” to win food and prizes.

The SFA’s event included assorted goodies such as chocolate-covered strawberries, cupcakes, cookies, popcorn, fudge brownies, chocolate dipped Oreos and pretzels.

Vice President, Alyssa Robbins said that she joined as a sophomore but wishes she had joined as a freshman.

“I love SFA. Getting to be in a group of people who love filming and making great memories is just so much fun. It is just such a great environment to be a part of,” Robbins said.

There are no fees to join the club, and members receive knowledge in writing, editing and producing his or her own films.

Upcoming events include another bake sale on Tuesday, October 15th during common hour in the Student Center and a Halloween Film Festival on Thursday, October 31st at 7 PM in the Atrium Auditorium.

The organization meets every Thursday afternoon from 12:30 to 1:30 in room 140A in Hamilton Hall.
