On Oct. 1, 2017 at 1:55 P.M., while on routine patrol, William Paterson University Police officers conducted a motor vehicle stop in Lot 5. As a result, a non-student was arrested for having active warrants.

On Oct. 2, 2017 at 12:01 P.M., two students entered William Paterson University Police headquarters to report a potential fraudulent check that they were sent in the mail. As a result, a report was filed and an investigation was started.

On Oct. 2, 2017 at 11:06 P.M., while on routine patrol, William Paterson University Police officers conducted a motor vehicle stop in the Quick Chek parking lot on Hamburg Turnpike. As a result, two students were referred to judicial affairs due to violating the University’s narcotics policy.

On Oct. 4, 2017 at 10:33 A.M., William Paterson University Police officers responded to College Hall due to the report of two thefts that occurred on Sept. 21, 2017 and Oct. 3, 2017 in College Hall. As a result, a report was filed and an investigation was started.

On Oct. 6, 2017 at 11:10 A.M., two students entered William Paterson University Police headquarters to report a possible fraud that occurred on Oct. 4, 2017. As a result, a report was filed and an investigation was started.

On Oct. 7, 2017 at 9:02 P.M., while on routine patrol, William Paterson University Police officers observed graffiti in Lot 6. As a result, a report was filed and an investigation was started.

On Oct. 8, 2017 at 12:10 P.M., William Paterson University Police officers assisted the Haledon Police Department due to the report of a verbal dispute in progress on Richardson St. As a result, the Haledon Police Department arrested one individual for assault and resisting arrest.

On Oct. 12, 2017 at 2:14 P.M., while on routine patrol, William Paterson University Police officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Hamburg Turnpike. As a result, one student was arrested for having an active warrant.

On Oct. 13, 2017 at 3:45 P.M., William Paterson University Police officers assisted the Haledon Police Department. As a result, the Haledon Police Department arrested one individual for narcotics.

On Oct. 13, 2017 at 11:48 P.M., while on an unrelated call, William Paterson University Police officers detected the possible usage of a controlled dangerous substance. As a result, one student was referred to judicial affairs for violating the University’s narcotics policy.

On Oct. 14, 2017 at 1:02 P.M., while on routine patrol, William Paterson University Police officers noticed damage to University property on Access Road. As a result, a report was filed and an investigation was started.

On Oct. 14, 2017 at 2:54 P.M., William Paterson University Police officers responded to Lot 6 to take a report from a student regarding damage that was done to their car. As a result, a report was filed and an investigation was started.

On Oct. 14, 2017 at 5:56 P.M., William Paterson University Police officers were dispatched to Hillside Hall due to the report of a possible highly intoxicated student. As a result, one student was transported to the hospital for being intoxicated and referred to judicial affairs for the same.

On Oct. 21, 2017 at 1:59 A.M., while on an unrelated call in Overlook South, William Paterson University Police officers overhead a noise violation coming from a room. As a result, four students were referred to judicial affairs for underage drinking.

As a result, two students and one non-student were referred to judicial affairs for violating the University’s narcotics policy.
