At 10:05 a.m. Sunday, William Paterson University announced it will close all offices Monday, Feb. 23, because of expected severe weather.
All on-campus classes and activities are canceled. University offices will be closed, but online classes will continue as scheduled, allowing students to remain on track with coursework.
Essential employees are still required to report to work.

The Wayne and Paterson school districts will also be closed Monday and will not implement remote learning.
This marks the second snow day for the university this semester and the third weather-related disruption to the academic schedule.
Blizzard warnings were expanded Saturday for New York City, New Jersey, southern New England and coastal communities along the East Coast.
For residential students, the campus parking garage will remain open. Students with vehicles parked in Lot 2, Lot 5, Lot 6 or the Pioneer and Heritage lots must move their cars to the garage.
The garage will remain open throughout the storm and until campus lots are cleared. Students will likely need to remove their vehicles by Monday evening or Tuesday morning.
Parking fees will be waived, provided vehicles are moved when instructed.
As the storm approaches, The Beacon urges students, faculty and staff to take precautions and remain safe.
