The Super Bowl may be just around the corner, but students at William Paterson University will not have to wait until game day to celebrate.
Residence Life, Campus Police and the university’s dining services will host a Super Bowl Tailgate Party on Sunday, Feb. 8, at 6 p.m. in Wayne Dining Hall.
The event is designed to create a pregame atmosphere, featuring classic tailgate food, games and opportunities for students to socialize ahead of the Super Bowl. The menu includes bone-in wings, buffalo cauliflower wings, tater tots, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, Philly cheesesteaks and mac and cheese bites. Vegetarian options, such as buffalo cauliflower wings, will also be available.
In addition to food, the tailgate will feature music and football-themed activities, giving students a chance to gather, enjoy familiar game-day snacks and get into the spirit of Super Bowl weekend.
The Super Bowl Tailgate Party is open to all WPUNJ students and will take place Sunday, Feb. 8, at 6 p.m. in Wayne Dining Hall. Students are encouraged to bring friends and school spirit as they kick off Super Bowl weekend.
