WPUNJ Cancels Classes

William Paterson University will be canceling classes for February 9, due to expected inclement weather. School activities and offices will also be closed.
Of the 21 counties within New Jersey, 18 will be under a winter storm warning. Between 3 and 10 inches are expected to fall starting at around 3 a.m., but some experts report that as much as a foot could fall Thursday morning. Winds could be as strong as 35 mph.
Meanwhile, cheers erupted in the William Paterson dining hall around 6:30 p.m., as students received emergency alerts with news of tomorrow’s canceled classes. Staff and students are to check the WPUNJ.edu website for more information.
Resident students will be allowed to park in the Pioneer Garage until noon Friday. In order to enter the parking garage, students must possess a valid school issued ID card.
