This week’s Pioneer of the Week goes to WP Baseball’s Dylan Santos!
In his third year with the program, Santos is having his best season so far as a Pioneer. The junior infielder now has a full-time starting role at third base.
This week, Santos recorded nine hits, batting .450, crossing home plate seven times, and piling up 13 RBIs.
In the non-conference matchup against Manhattanville University on Tuesday, April 22, Santos hit a ball over the fence for his third home run of the season.
Santos and the Pioneers baseball crew won against Manhattanville 15-7, getting their first non-conference win since the matchup vs DeSales University on April 1. The baseball team will return to NJCU in Jersey City on Thursday.
