Disney Gifts Fans an Early Christmas Surprise
New Shows, Movies, Sequels and more to come!

On December 10th, The Walt Disney Company held a webcast for its Investor Day 2020 which, “focused on the Company’s direct-to-consumer streaming services,” which surprised many with the massive catalog of brand new titles to come.
During the stream, Disney discussed financial estimates and statements, changes in the domestic and global market, and much more. What caught the eye of many fans and fanbases, however, was the announcement of new content/title launches on their streaming service Disney + as well as Disney Animation and Pixar films coming soon in 2021 or in the years to follow.
The announcement consisted of new titles from Marvel, Lucasfilm, Disney and Pixar.

“Black Widow” May 1, 2020 (film)- “At birth, the Black Widow is given to the KGB, which grooms her to become its ultimate operative. When the U.S.S.R. breaks up, the government tries to kill her as the action moves to present-day New York, where she is a freelance operative.”
“Cruella” May 28, 2021 (film)- following the evil exploits of Cruella de Vil, the villain from the Disney film, “101 Dalmatians’. MovieWeb, states that it is “set in the punk rock scene of 1970s London, the movie will follow young fashion designer Cruella de Vil, who becomes obsessed with dogs’ skins, especially dalmatians, until she eventually becomes the ruthless and terrifying legend that we all love to hate.”
“Loki” May 2021 (series / Disney+)- Takes places after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.”
“Luca” June 2021 (film)- A coming-of-age story, “A young boy experiences an unforgettable seaside summer on the Italian Riviera filled with gelato, pasta and endless scooter rides. Luca shares these adventures with his newfound best friend, but all the fun is threatened by a deeply-held secret: he is a sea monster from another world just below the ocean’s surface.”
