I would like to know what the deal is in the library. Today happened to be the hottest day of the summer and as per the usual in the library it was very warm. The sweat was beading off my face and down my back. I could not feel the difference between being outside in the sun from inside the library.
Why is the air conditioning not working at full blast on days like this? This is not the first time I have experienced sweating my a** off in the library. It seems to me that the school tries to cut back expenses and students pay for it.
I'd be willing to bet that the air was on full speed in the offices of the directors, etc. I am sick and tired of paying the highest tuition compared to other New Jersey colleges and Universities and getting treated like a dog. If I have to use the library to study and do school work I would like to be comfortable.
Sweat running down my back and face inside the library isn't my idea of comfortable. Someone needs to get on the ball and fix the problem. It is an absolute disgrace to expect people to use the library in heat that is just as bad inside as it is out, and I for one am fed up.
This wasn't the first time and complaints seem to fall on deaf ears!

Cell Phone Usage in the Library
May 02, 2007--WPU
Have you ever gone into the library to study quietly and then been interrupted by that girl or guy who just can’t wait to talk on their cell phone? Talking on the cell phones in the library is supposed to be forbidden. What has happened to courtesy and good manners, not to mention following the rules?
When I take a day off from work to come to the college library to study for an exam I don’t want to sit and listen to Gabby at the next table, chit chatting with her guy. Take it outside! If you’re using the library and you’re expecting a call, set your phone on vibrate. It is extremely impolite to others who care about their grades to have to listen to you and your conversation.
Who should be held accountable? If certain students are not mature enough to realize on their own that their behavior is rude then the library staff should see to it that the rules are obeyed. Why have signs all over the place when no one abides by them and no one enforces the policies? Cell phone usage in the library should be banned altogether. If students need to make calls then they should do so outside in the foyer and not inside where other students are reading, studying, and concentrating on writing papers.
